THESE ARE YOUR TASKS:

  • scanning probe microscopy in physiological cell culture media
  • research on functional imaging for the atomic force microscope and active stabilisation
    • data evaluation
    • final experiments
    • graphical presentations
    • deriving and discussing results

THIS MAKES YOU A GOOD FIT:

  • completed university degree (state exam, diploma, master's degree or comparable degree) in physics or nanosciences with at least good results
  • interest in interdisciplinary themes, e.g. interaction of live cells with surface structures
  • knowledge of the basics of experimental physics or chemistry, especially of interfaces, scanning probe microscopy methods
  • good knowledge of the German and English language
