A PhD research position in the department of Microbiology on a DFG funded project studying mutations and genome stability in Thermoanaerobacter kivui. As a thermophilic anaerobe capable of growth at 66°C on the gasses H2 and CO2, T. kivui has enormous potential for industrial biotechnology.
